A LITTLE PIECE OF BEACH HUTS HISTORY

Prior to purchasing the property in September 2002, Beach Huts Middleton was known as the Old Middleton Grain Store with a restaurant and 6 cabins at the rear of the complex. Upon completion of the restaurant renovation, from a barnyard shed look alike in 2002, we moved on to constructing 6 new cabins on site between 2004-2008. This gave us a total of 12 beach huts. Shortly after the tennis court was laid and 2 new car parks added.

The onsite restaurant, known as 'Blues Restaurant' has been leased & managed separately since 2004. Four years later our popular 'Village Hall' was constructed, central to the twelve huts and overlooking the Village Green. The reception extension was completed in December 2011.

Renovations to the original 6 huts were complete in 2015 along with the reinvention of our seaside cottage gardens & red brick pathways. Like any project is it ever really complete?!  The renovation cycle continues as we are always improving, updating, and designing our beautiful interiors to be the very best we have to offer our guests.

August 2016 Brighton & Cottesloe renovations took place.  November 2017 Coogee bathroom received a full makeover. December 2017 Portsea hut kitchen renovation, paint decor to a lighter, fresher look.

Our latest pride and joy is the Torquay Hut renovated in July 2018 with extensive work being completed to  convert from single to two bedrooms.  This was due to an ongoing demand for two-bedroom huts.
